The session was opened by ANESAR’s Technical Secretary General, Juan Lacarra. Afterwards, Pedro de Frutos, representing the team managing the training platform, explained its operation, development, and reach. During his presentation, he outlined the three core courses: “Customer Service,” “Responsible Gaming Best Practices,” and “Security in Gaming Venues: Prevention and Behaviour Guidelines.” It was also noted that gaming halls across Spain have registered a total of 17,423 enrolments and 25,768 emails sent, involving 256 participating companies.
The event continued with two noteworthy contributions: one on responsible gaming by Francesc Perendreu, president of ACENCAS, and another on security by David Calvete, member of the National Police Gaming Brigade. Later, the association’s president, José Vall, emphasised the importance of training as a strategic pillar.
A video about the Training Plan was also shown, and VERAMATIC received recognition as the company with the highest volume of completed training within ANESAR’s programme. The award, which highlights a sustained and committed investment in employee development, was collected by José Antonio Hernández Ramos. ANESAR also acknowledged the individual commitment of sector professionals by presenting a special recognition to the holder of the Training Plan’s 17,500th enrolment, a milestone that reflects the programme’s reach and consolidation. The honoured employee, David Martínez, received the award.
To close the event, ANESAR’s secretary, Juan Lacarra, expressed his gratitude to everyone who makes the Training Plan possible, as well as to all its participants.
