A Conference that gathered Industry Leaders
The talk "Innovation in Online Gaming, iGaming, and Sports Betting" brought together key figures such as Victor Arias (Pragmatic Play), German Sarmiento (Betcris), Luis Caro (Luckia), Enrique Romero (Golden Lion), Eduardo Villegas (Playdoit), and Jorge Rojas (Prometeo IT). Moderated by Arias, the conversation revolved around how the pandemic accelerated the need for innovation, both within and outside the gaming industry.
Participants addressed topics such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and their application in service personalization. “AI is a tool that allows us to automate processes, but without criteria, there is no innovation,” they emphasized.
Omnichannel, user experience, and new habits
One of the most discussed points was omnichannel, understood as the possibility of offering a 360-degree experience to the player, combining online and in-person channels. Although they clarified that this model has not yet been consolidated in Mexico, experts agreed that it is key to the future of the sector.
User experience also took center stage. From platform design to the use of neuromarketing tools, everyone agreed that attracting and retaining players depends on offering a seamless, engaging, and personalized experience.

The Impact of Streamers and Market Evolution
The discussion also explored the growing role of streamers, influencers, and brand ambassadors in player decisions. The recent edition of Supernova Strikers 2025 in Mexico City was mentioned as an example. The event brought together influencers, artists, and comedians on a single stage, combining exhibition fights with world-class musical performances, demonstrating how digital culture is redefining entertainment.
Regarding the Latin American market, it was emphasized that innovation doesn't always imply major technological changes, but rather improvements in simple processes that generate value. Mexico, according to the panelists, is a strategic market that demands adaptability and a long-term vision.
A closing event that encourages continued innovation
The discussion made it clear that the future of online gaming and sports betting in Mexico depends on understanding the user, integrating channels, and investing in constant innovation. GAT CDMX 2025 thus consolidates itself as a key space for reflecting on the future of iGaming in the region.
