The initiative, organized by Gaming & Technology Expo in partnership with the Curando a México Foundation and produced by SoluestBet, seeks to raise funds to strengthen hospital and medical infrastructure in vulnerable communities in the country through the donation of health equipment and supplies.
The tournament will be held on Thursday, August 28th at Expo Santa Fe, Room A, as part of the official GAT Expo program. Under the No Limit Texas Hold'em format, the competition will bring together 40 representatives from leading companies in the sector—online and land-based casino operators, technology providers, betting platforms, and strategic partners—who will share a supportive and high-level networking environment.
In addition to the competition, the Poker Cup is projected as a space to highlight corporate social responsibility and the human side of the gaming industry and GAT Expo as an organizer and promoter of social and environmental events, previously held in Colombia through the Universo Verde Foundation and currently in Mexico. All registration fees will be allocated to the Curando a México Foundation's programs.
Curando is a non-profit organization that has been working to improve healthcare conditions in the country since 2012. Its work focuses on providing hospitals and health centers with quality equipment and supplies from the United States, in partnership with Project C.U.R.E., which has allowed aid to be delivered to various regions and benefited thousands of patients. For more than a decade, the Foundation has consolidated an effective support model that unites companies, institutions, and civil society around a common cause: guaranteeing decent and accessible healthcare services for those who need them most.
The event will culminate with the ceremonial presentation of a symbolic check to the Foundation, reflecting the sector's joint contribution, and with the awarding of prizes to the finalists and the tournament champion, who will receive a commemorative trophy in the name of solidarity and business unity.
The development of the Mexico Poker Cup Solidario is possible thanks to the support of companies committed to social responsibility and the positive impact of the industry. Among the first confirmed sponsors are BetSw3, a provider of technological solutions for online casinos; and ChatBet, a predictive AI platform for betting via WhatsApp and Telegram. These companies have joined this cause as strategic allies, contributing not only resources but also a message of corporate solidarity that transcends gambling.
With this action, GAT Expo Mexico 2025 not only reaffirms its role as a platform for business, innovation, and strategic alliances, but also as a catalyst for purpose-driven initiatives that generate a positive impact on Mexican society.
Registration for the tournament is now open for representatives of companies in the sector, both B2B and B2C, operators, and suppliers, and will be available until the 40 spots are filled. Those interested can acquire the right to participate by contributing to the Curando Foundation's projects. Write to gerencia@soluest.com and saludyesperanza@curandomexico.org. Stand out as a brand and leader in corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Mexico.
